I almost kissed the postman!

  on  Tuesday, January 15, 2013
I was so excited when the post arrived this morning, I almost kissed the postman! Why? Because he brought me a parcel from the UK, my Christmas box from my lovely daughter. Would you like to see what's inside? Of course you would :)

Squeeee...look what's on top - it's the stitching book that I wanted!

Squeeee again! Look at all this loveliness!

Chocolates and mince pies... I love chocolates and mince pies ♥

The sweetest little angel, perched in a tree trunk...the card says, 'Can love be made of clay?' Aww!

Huge squeee... I know what these are...

Postcards of Julia Crossland's beautiful artwork! Aren't they just fabulous... all of them!

These two are my very favourites ♥

And the book, of course... I did so want this book! Just look at the lovely Bunting Cushion on the cover, isn't it beautiful! I've had a quick look through it (I'll be perusing it at leisure this evening after work - with frothy coffee, mince pies and chocolates to hand, of course), and there are so many lovely stitching projects that I want to do.

Love these!

Love this... I'd like to stitch the little red mini towing the caravan though :) But I've already chosen my first project...

... and my materials are ready! Isn't it adorable? It's ages since I did any cross-stitching and I'm so looking forward to working on it, between crochet projects, of course.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU Rebecca - I love my presents and I love you too

Wishing you all as happy a day as mine,

  4. What a fun and thoughtful gift. I'm sure it was nice to get a present in January. Those stitched projects look wonderful. We are all into the bunting after Downton Abbey Season 3 episode 1 before the wedding.
